Here are some guidelines to observe when visiting Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel.Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel is nestled on the shores of one of the most special beaches in the world.

It is indeed one of a kind, since it is home to the second highest concentration of nesting Leatherback Turtles in the world. These incredible creatures return to Mt. Plaisir’s shores annually from the months of March to August.

During these months, it is important to note that the beach is protected by law and as such, a special permit is required to be on the shore from March 1 to August 31.
It is therefore imperative that we maintain the integrity of the surroundings to allow these gentle giants to have the best possible nesting experience.

This includes minimising light, the use of flash photography and noise pollution.

Mindfulness for our environment, coupled with love and respect for our fellow creatures are part of our ethos at HADCO Experiences in Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel and as such, we encourage our guests to do the same.
