I think he enjoyed himself!!!!
Please pass on my thanks to everyone who looked after him so well.
The experience at Asa Wright was amazing.
The lodging was modern, clean, and comfortable.
The food was excellent as well. We were one of 2 couples staying there on our first night, and we had the entire facility to ourselves the 2nd night. The kitchen and service staff really went out of there way for us, and they are a really great crew. They asked us when we wanted dinner and breakfast, working around our birding schedule, flexed the menu for us, making more traditional Trini dishes (something I would encourage more of in the menu/offerings) rather than the typical western fare, and even had evening drinks and nightcaps for us. It wasn't just the service which was great, it was the personality of the staff and their warmth, I really can't say enough to this point.
The birding was great, plenty to see both from the veranda and on the trails. The guide staff was excellent as well. Caleb did an excellent job with us during the days working the property and pointing out birds we would have missed on our own, similar to Jeremy in the evenings.
With respect to the property setup, and this is meant as constructive, not as a negative, I would recommend installing some mid level and upper level canopy towers on the property to help open up some of the viewing options. Feeders hanging of the front of the veranda would be excellent as well, or at the minimum branch/stick perches for birds could be mounted off the veranda, this would help with photographic opportunities. Similar to the area below the veranda, possibly taking over one of the storage rooms, and making it photo blind for the lower level activity at the feeders.
We are definitely looking forward to our next trip down for turtle season.
Hope this is helpful and thank you very much.
we had a wonderful experience yesterday. Your staff gave us a superb welcome and looked after us throughout our stay. We felt like VIP’s. 10/10 for service, hospitality, and food quality. We loved the restoration work in the main house. Carefully chosen furniture, fittings and colours which are in harmony with the beautiful environment. Chantal, Jeremy, Joanne, Aneesa, your Chef, and support staff were all perfect hosts. Many thanks. We have started sharing the delightful experience on our social media accounts.
The renovations of AWNC are truly impressive and new and returning staff, helpful and pleasant.
It was also refreshing to hear Hadco Experience’s commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism.
Our visit on Saturday 8th July was amazing! We had a great experience, and the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. Elizabeth, Caleb, another young man who was taking pics, our servers I can’t remember their names. Kudos to everyone. Front desk manager, evening manager Chantel we even met chef Patrick! Wonder staff, I sure will be back. Have a great day.
The students and I absolutely LOVED the experience. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. Caleb was a fantastic guide – extremely knowledgeable, patient, and considerate! The students have recommended that we include this experience for future program participants. I very much appreciate your support along the way!
Just wanted to send a thank you to you and the team at Asa Wright. The family had a great time and it was lovely to see the place again. Thanks to the staff and chef who were amazing at accommodating us with two little ones. Elizabeth the tour guide was wonderful.
Next time hopefully we can stay a bit longer.
I just wanted to thank you for all your organising for the Proudfoot family last Friday. Jordan and the staff, tuners etc. at the factory were very good and very interactive with the
four boys which was wonderful. I could not have asked for more.
Our evening at the Panyard was magical. Amanda met us, the band welcomed us and played as only Phase 11 can play. The boys were mesmerized at their playing. It was special for us to meet with Dr. Boogsie Sharpe. We also met with Jamaal, I believe. He was extremely informative, and we enjoyed meeting him.
Thank you again and thanks also to Amanda, Jordan, the staff at the factory and the whole of Phase II Band.
This was my second visit, and my first time staying overnight.
Everything from the facilities, to staff, and meals were nothing short of superb. They were very patient, and kind, with the young children present within my party.
They strike a balance which isn’t easy to achieve.
I hope to visit again.
A quick update that the team had an absolutely fantastic time this Friday at Asa Wright and truly left there refreshed and recharged. I could not think of a more perfect setting for our team building get away day.
All of the staff and of course especially your GM (Helen sorry if I remember that wrong) and Mukesh our tour guide, were phenomenal. Food could not have been tastier!
All this to say thank you for investing in this national treasure and giving us this option! We will be back.
