It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Asa Wright Nature Centre! To ensure that your day with us will be memorable, and to help you prepare for your outing, we would like to share some useful details with you, via our Day-Pass Visitor Policy.

At the Asa Wright Nature Centre we offer the following services for our Day-Pass guests:

Commencing May 1 2023, our Day Passes will be available at a rate of TT$550 per person. The pass will allow visitors access to the property from 9am – 5pm, where they can immerse themselves in nature, take a walk along our many forested nature trails, swim in our natural pools, or sit on the Verandah of the Main House and enjoy the spectacular view and a variety of birds, such as Toucans, Trogons, Purple and Green Honeycreepers, Manakins, Colourful Tanagers, Ruby-topaz Hummingbirds, and Mot Mots.

Guests will also benefit from a complimentary 30-minute guided Orientation Tour. If a further in-depth birding tour is required, it can be arranged at an additional cost of TT$300 per person. This tour runs for approximately three hours. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all public areas.

Packing List:

The following are a few items that we recommend packing to enhance your experience while visiting us:

• Natural/Non-toxic sunscreen
• Natural/Non-toxic insect repellent
• Bathing suit
• Hat
• Towels
• Lightweight t-shirts and trousers
• Long socks
• Hiking/Walking Shoes or Sneakers
• Backpack for day trips
• Re-useable water bottle (free potable water available on site)
• Ziplock bags for keeping things dry, or keeping wet things separately
• Camera and/or Video Recorder

We recommend that you avoid wearing dark clothing and highly fragranced body products (perfume, lotion, etc.)

Be mindful that if you are going hiking on the trails, jewelry can become entangled in overhanging branches.

Reservations:

Reservations are required for our Day Pass, and they are subject to availability. Bookings must be arranged at least 48 hours prior to arrival through our Reservations Office and paid in full before arrival via an online payment link sent by the Reservations team.

Check-In:

Day Pass visitors are required to check-in at the Front Desk upon arrival to receive their Day Pass Access Bands. A valid form of ID must be presented. Only registered guests with valid identification will be allowed access onto the premises.

Meals:

Your package includes lunch and one (1) non-alcoholic beverage, per person. Lunch is served in the restaurant from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Food prepared externally and portable cooking equipment are not permitted.

Free and safe drinking water is provided at the hotel by way of two filtered water dispensers, so that you can refill your reusable water bottles at any time.

Smoking:

Kindly note that our property is a 100% smoke-free environment.

Pets:

For safety reasons, pets are not allowed on our premises.
