How to Get Here

Asa Wright Nature Centre

A 47-minute drive from Piarco International Airport, you can reach our centre by heading west to exit right at the roundabout, proceeding North to the Piarco Traffic Lights. Turn right onto Churchill Roosevelt Highway, traveling East to Demerara Road. Take the exit on the left and proceed until the Eastern Main Road intersection, where Demerara Road becomes the Arima Bypass Road then the Arima Blanchisseuse Road. Continue driving until you reach the Welcome to Asa Wright Nature Centre and HADCO EXPERIENCES sign on your left. Approach the security intercom on your right so that security can confirm your details, then continue following the path until you reach the ecolodge entrance.

Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel

A 2 hour and 20 minute drive from Piarco International Airport, your journey begins as you head West from the airport, exiting right at the roundabout and proceeding to the Piarco Traffic Lights. Next, turn right onto the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, proceeding East until you reach Cumuto Road. Exit left onto Cumuto Road and proceed North until you come to the Eastern Main Road. Turn right onto Eastern Main Road and drive straight through the first roundabout, when the road becomes Valencia Main Road. Continue driving straight on the main road until you reach the Toco Main Road. Turn left onto the Toco Main Road and keep driving for about an hour until you reach the Paria Main Road. Turn left onto Paria Main Road and drive for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until you come to Hosang Street. Turn right onto Hosang Street and you will see the welcome sign for Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel, close to the road’s end.
