Maracas Falls has the distinction of being the islands’ tallest single drop waterfall, with a drop of 91.5 meters (300 ft). It is also one of the most accessible waterfalls and is perfect for beginners, younger children and senior citizens. Allow your senses to come alive during the 4 hour trek, which is filled with breathtaking scenes of flora and fauna.

Located in the heart of the Northern Range, this cascading waterfall is a must see for any nature lover. The 30 minute trail winds through lush rainforest and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, leading to a 50ft waterfall and crystal clear pools perfect for swimming and cooling off from the tropical heat

The Turure Waterfall is around 1.2 kilometers long and takes 20-30 minutes to hike at a moderate pace. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green foliage and the sound of singing birds, as the water cascades over rocks into a turquoise blue pool – a truly immersive experience.

The Lajaja Waterfall is located in the Arima Valley and is an estimated 2.5-hour hike through lush vegetation and unforgettable views. The natural beauty and serene surroundings create the perfect atmosphere to swim in the cool waters and take memorable photos of the cascading waterfall.  


Visiting the picturesque Blue Basin waterfall is an experience that combines natural beauty, adventure, and serenity. At roughly 200 feet high, Habio Falls is Trinidad’s third tallest waterfall, which is situated in Rincon Valley, Las Cuevas on the North Coast. The hike to the waterfall is a challenging 3-hour trek along a trail that is surrounded by lush green forest, wild coffee sprouts and adorned by several tiny crossing streams 


The climb to Mt. El Tucuche, the second highest peak in the Northern Range of Trinidad, is an exhilarating adventure that takes you through lush rainforests, across babbling streams, and up steep slopes. As you ascend higher, the air becomes crisper, and the panoramic views become more breathtaking. The trail is properly marked, guiding you through a diverse range of flora and fauna over a 1.5-2.5 hour trek. Challenge yourself to this climb and encounter vibrant orchids, towering bamboo groves, and catch a glimpse of elusive wildlife like the Trinidad Piping Guan or the Golden Tree Frog.

Climbing the tallest point of Trinidad, El Cerro del Aripo, is a humbling experience that reminds you of nature’s grandeur. Emerald-green valleys below seem to stretch endlessly, while distant peaks peek through blankets of mist.
